Health and Safety Training Level 2

This health and safety course provides an excellent introduction to workplace safety training and will benefit all employees, especially those stepping into a health and safety role, such as a safety representative within their organization. Successful candidates will be awarded a nationally recognized Level 2 health and safety qualification, which serves as an ideal foundation for higher-level training or career development.

Duration

This is a one-day, classroom-based course. Depending on the learners' experience, there may be some pre-course reading required.

Syllabus

The course covers a variety of subjects, including:

- The roles and responsibilities for health, safety, and welfare in the workplace.

- The value and process of risk assessments.

- The identification and control of workplace hazards.

- How to respond to workplace incidents and accidents.

Certification

Assessment is ongoing by the instructor, culminating in a multiple-choice question paper. This Level 2 health and safety qualification does not expire, but refresher training and staying updated with changes to policies and procedures are essential to keep the qualification current.

Numbers

A maximum of 16 learners can participate in this course, with all learners required to be a minimum of 16 years of age. 

Additionally, this course can also be delivered via distance learning through Teams/Zoom.
